Why is there a need for a dust suppressant?

Evidence has demonstrated that dust is a serious health concern for performance horses and their riders. It causes inflammations that decrease lung capacity and function; dust aggravates health problems such as Asthma and Pneumonia, and increases the risk of developing infection by overloading the lung's primary defense mechanism.

Research has shown that horses require 3000% more oxygen while training and competing than while at rest. Dust control in a working environment is especially crucial to maintain your horse’s best possible health.

How Arena Dust-B-Gone works.

Arena Dust-B-Gone coats each individual particle in your soil and works to retain moisture long after it would have normally evaporated - drastically reducing the need to water. Arena Dust-B-Gone must be periodically reapplied every two or three months at approximately 1/5 its initial application rate to maintain its presence in your soil.

How much Arena Dust-B-Gone do you need to stop dust?

We recommend that Arena Dust-B-Gone be applied at ONE GALLON of Arena Dust-B-Gone per 750 sq. ft. Therefore, divide the total square feet of your arena by the application ration (750) and the result is the number of gallons of Dust-B-Gone required to treat your arena for the first time.

For example, if your indoor arena is 70 ft by 150 ft, you have a 10,500 sq ft. You would therefore require 14 gallons of Arena Dust-B-Gone to initially treat that arena. Thus, maintenance coats of 1/5 the initial application, on your 10,500 sq ft arena would be 2.8 gallons every two to three months.
